After 10 years, we are saddened to share that K9 Acres will be closing its doors. Our final day of operation will be June 30, 2026. As of May 1, 2026, we will provide only limited services.
This was an extremely difficult decision for us. K9 Acres was never just a business. It was created with the sincere hope of building a place where both people and dogs could thrive. It became a space where individuals gained valuable work experience, grew in confidence, and felt truly valued, while dogs of every breed, age, and temperament received thoughtful care and affection.
Over the past decade, we have been privileged to care for so many wonderful dogs and to get to know the families who love them. Many of you have been with us for years, entrusting us with members of your family. That trust has meant more to us than we can adequately express.
To every staff member who has been part of K9 Acres throughout the years, we offer our deepest thanks. Your dedication, patience, hard work, and genuine love for the dogs helped shape what K9 Acres became. Your contributions will always be remembered.
We are proud of the community that grew around K9 Acres and of the positive impact it had on so many lives—both human and canine. Though we wish circumstances had allowed us to continue, we are grateful for the time we had.

K9 Acres is proud to offer an exclusive, member-only doggy daycare centre at our Georgina campus. Our social club is a cage-free premium play care facility that has been set up to provide a consistent and enhanced social experience for your pets.
Our fully fenced-in facility offers your dog access to a large and sunny open play yard with industrial-sized fans to keep a steady breeze in the summer months. Furthermore, we provide clean, shallow pools that allow our furry guests to take a refreshing dip, have fun and keep cool. Our facility is also equipped with both air-conditioned and heated spaces available for your dog to relax while in our care.

About Our Exclusive Doggy Daycare Centre in Sutton
At K9 Acres, we proudly welcome ALL breeds of dogs. However, at our K9 Social Club, we do require that all of our potential furry members go through our personalized meet and greet process. This is strictly to ensure that our facility can fit your pet with the appropriate social pack and assess the overall suitability of your four-legged friend. Listed below are some of our most basic member requirements that must be met for your pet to attend our Social Club.
Member Requirements
At K9 Acres Social Club, we take the safety and happiness of your furry friend seriously. With that in mind, there are a few mandatory requirements that need to be met for your pet to attend our doggy daycare.

Must be at least 4 months old

Proof of current vaccinations for Rabies, Distemper, Parvovirus and Bordetella

No be in heat

Must be in good health and free from fleas and ticks

Friendly to all dogs
If your pup meets these basic requirements and you are interested in taking the next step to becoming a K9 Social Club member, we ask that you schedule a meet & greet by filling out our meet & greet request form. This allows us to gather some basic information about your furry friend and their eligibility. Once we have that information, we will work together to schedule an assessment to help us determine if your dog is suitable for our daycare facility.
As assessment is a 4-hour long stay at our facility, where you drop your dog off and we evaluate your dog's physical and mental characteristics as well as their reaction to the characteristics of the other dogs in our pack. This is done strictly to ensure the safety of your beloved pet as well as our other social pack members. This assessment does include a cost of $20. If your pet passes the temperament assessment, they will be offered to stay for a full day of daycare for an additional $10.

Social Club Assessment

Interested in registering your dog? Our first-time assessment is designed to determine if your dog is a good fit for our social club pack. This includes 4 hours at our doggy daycare to give us enough time to assess your dog's temperament and eligibility.
Full-Day Play
$35.00
Includes up to 12 hours of supervised fun in our fully fenced play areas with an attached heated/air-conditioned communal dog lounge with beds, toys and freshwater.
